Mission Statement


To encourage and build self esteem, self worth and confidence within a safe and supportive environment, for adults who have experienced or are recovering from long term mental health problems. By developing therapeutic relationships using practical, social and emotional development workshops to promote social inclusion, leading to volunteer work, full or part time paid employment.

Aims and Objectives

  • A safe and supportive environment for adults who have experienced or are recovering from long term mental health problems.
  • To provide social, leisure and educational opportunities to help overcome their problems.
  • To encourage individuals to develop their self esteem and confidence to enable them to be involved in community based activities.
  • To promote the active involvement of members and by providing an environment of support and acceptance encourage them to express their needs and interests.
  • To equip individual members with the necessary life skills to become confident and independent within the community.
  • By the life skills attained enable them to undertake educational courses, volunteer work or employment.
